What You Need:
- Mature and healthy plant
- Secateurs
- Small Pot
- Large Pot
- Water
- Potting Mix
- Fertiliser
- Pebbles
- Trowel
- Gloves
- Water
Step 1: Find a mature & healthy plant.

Step 2: Identify a stem with root nodes growing at the base of the stem & cut 3-4cm from below the root nodes.

Step 3: Remove any excess leaves that will sit in the water to prevent rotting.

Step 4: Fill your small vessel with water and pop your new plant cutting in! Make sure you keep the plant cutting out of direct sunlight.

Step 5: Leave your plant cutting in your vessel for around 2 weeks. Once the new white roots have grown to around 3cm your plant is ready to pot!

Step 6: Plant your cutting in a small pot and constantly keep the soil moist.

Step 7: To test if the plant has grown its roots, tug lightly on the stem - if the stem is still loose, it is yet to grow its firm roots.

Step 8: Once the plant has grown roots, it is ready to be planted into a bigger home.
